Our Commitment
Rideau AI is committed to making our Service accessible to everyone. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
Conformance Status
Target standard: WCAG 2.2 Level AA
Scope: All public pages and authenticated application features
Current status: Partially conformant. We meet many AA criteria through automated testing and design practices, but a formal third-party audit has not yet been conducted.
What We've Done
Automated Testing
- 76 automated accessibility tests via axe-core (integrated into our test suite)
- Tests run on every frontend change
- Covers: color contrast, ARIA labels, keyboard navigation, heading hierarchy, form labels, image alt text

Known Limitations
- AI-generated content may not always be well-structured for screen readers (e.g., missing heading hierarchy in model responses)
- Real-time streaming output may not be announced optimally by all screen readers
- A formal third-party accessibility audit has not yet been conducted
